So the aim of treatment is to break Amalgamation by removing excessively excited dosha from the body by the nearest route by PANCHAKARMA THERAPY and giving strength to Dushya i.e tissue/organ so that recurrence should not be possible. In this way Ayurveda does the radical treatment.

In today's world more and more people are falling victim to the adverse effects of stress and anxiety. Changing food habits, and late-night sleep are the leading causes of diseases. Diabetes, Hypertension, Thyroid Disorders, COPD, Asthma, PCOD, Cancer, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, etc are lifestyle disorders. These are caused by deeply seated metabolic toxins which should be removed by PANCHAKARMA THERAPY.

Basic Principles of Ayurveda

According to Ayurvedic principle the whole world is formed by FIVE ELEMENTS.( Viz Prithvi,Jala,Teja,Vayu,Akash)Our body is formed by THREE DOSHA(viz Vata, Pitta, Kapha),
SEVEN DHATU Ie Tissues (viz Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, Meda, Asthi, Majja, Shukra ),
THREE MALA(viz Purisha, Mutra, Sweda)

Positive health is restored when three doshas are in equilibrium .If this equilibrium disrupts then a person suffers from ailments Dhatu i.e tissues should be in good nutritive condition If they are not good qualitatively and quantitatively then a person falls victim to a disease.Three Malas should get excreated from body at proper time but if the function gets impaired and they got accumulated in the body which is the cause of disease .So equilibrium of Dosha,good nutritive condition of Dhatu,proper elimination of Mala from body restoe positive health of a person.

Concepts of Ayurveda

Ayurveda emphasizes on leading a proper lifestyle So Dinacharya and Ritucharya are advised by ancient Ayurvedic Acharyas in Classics . Dinacharya (Daily Regimen),Ritucharya (Seasona Regimen) both guide us proper healthy food habits and Do's & Don'ts.Change in sesion leads to imbalance of three Dosha. So even for a healthy person can go for PANCHAKARMA.
Panchakrma Therapies advised in different seasons.

Varsha Ritu

BASTI THERAPY is advised to combat excited Vata in this season.

Sharad Ritu

VIRECHANA and RAKTAMOKSHANA are advised to combat excited Pitta in this Season.

Vasanta Ritu

VAMANA and NASYA Therapies are given to combat Kapha in this season .

If patient doesn’t follow these daily regimen and seasonal regimen and if suffers by ailments then Shamana & Shodhana modalities have been given.

Shamana

It contains potent oral medicines in the form of natural herbs to pacify excited DOSHA.It may be powder,juice, decoction or tablet form.

Shodhana

This modality is adapted when the DOSHAS are in abundance.So to eliminate them from body and to purify body PANCHAKARMA procedures are done

Sattvavajaya Chikitsa (Psycological Disorders)

Sattva is Guna of Mind. Raja & Tama are Dosha's of Mind. So the imbalance between them leads to Psycological problems. So Shodhana & Shamana treatment is told to restore Mental health.

I)To Restore Positive Health -Abhyanga. Basti, Nasya & Shirodhara are advised.

i)Abhyanga – (Medicated Massage with Medicated Steam)

ii)Basti- Root of administration of medicated oil/decoction is through anus so it resembles like rectal enema but mode of action is different

iii)Nasya- Administration of medicated oil/ghee through nose is called nasya.
